About David Walton

Great attention to detail.

In 1993, I was apprehensive when I chose to invest in a weeklong training workshop in Mississippi. With a background in straight painting, I needed to chart a more creative path more in line with my personality and giftings. During that week, master artisan, M. Carl Frederickson, gave me a basic understanding of technique and practical training from his vast experience. As this journey has continued, I have regularly taken other training classes and workshops to continue “brushing up on my skills” and new product knowledge.

I am a longtime member of Home Builders Association of Metro Mobile and the International Decorative Artisan’s League. I have been honored to work with many wonderful homeowners, interior designers, architects, builders and contractors.

My wife, Karen, and I live in Daphne, Alabama. In addition to painting, I enjoy the arts, spending time with grandchildren and participating in community theatre and church music.
