David Walton has painted in some of the finest homes and businesses in Mobile and Baldwin counties of Alabama and in the surrounding locale. He also works with some of the area's top interior designers and homebuilders, and loves his work as it gives him an opportunity to be creative with each individual project.

“Seeing an area uniquely transformed is very rewarding to me,” says David.

David has had intensive training under some of the world’s finest faux artists. His mentor,
M. Carl Frederickson, formerly of Rocky Mountain Painting School, conducts workshops across the nation.  He also has had advanced training in European marbling and woodgraining techniques under Michael MacNeil, an honored member of London’s 800-year-old painters' guild.  He continually brushes up on his skills by attending various training workshops on a regular basis.

Consistently taking part in Mobile and Baldwin County’s Parade of Homes, he has displayed his decorative finishes in the Mobile Showcase Home each year since 1994.  He is a member of the Home Builders Association of Metro Mobile, the Remodelers Council, and the Stencil Artisans League, Inc.  His work was featured in the November 2000 issue of Mobile Bay Monthly, and in the Winter 2005 issue of House to Home, as well as in several editions of the Artistic Stenciler Magazine. Although he works primarily in the Mobile/Baldwin area, he will occasionally take commissions in other areas of the country.

David and his wife, Karen, live in Daphne, Alabama. Between them, they have eight children.  Besides his painting, David has a love for all the arts. He is a singer/songwriter, guitarist, is active in local theatre and is on the music/worship team at Christ Anglican Church in Mobile, Alabama.
